At our February meeting David Palmer brought along a quantity of pictures - to guide us through the process of deciding "is it genuine or a forgery?". One item David showed us was a sketch which had been sent to an upmarket London auction house for examination. It now has a letter of authenticity from that auction which increases its value immensely - but it is in fact a forgery!! As always David entertained us with many stories from his time as an auctioneer and dealer.
