Using accredited travel companies, this group will arrange trips outside the UK and/or extended trips within the UK. The group organiser Adrian will act as the liaison between interested members and the travel companies.

The group will not have regular meetings and there are no “subs” involved. Trips will be announced via Beacon emails and interested members will contact the travel company directly using the details contained in the specific holiday announcement, if they wish to make a booking. All deposits and payments will be made directly with the travel company.

Insurance must be arranged independently by participating members; u3a insurance will not be operated for these trips.

VCV u3a have a similar group and we hope this new group will be interesting and successful.
